We offer a variety of webinars for both potential and registered tax practitioners. These sessions are free and may count towards your Continuing Professional Education (CPE).


To attend a webinar, you must register. Simply click the 'Register now' button next to the event you wish to attend and fill out your details in the 'Register Today!' pop-up. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provide. If you don’t receive it, please check your junk or spam folder.


We will provide an attendance certificate for all webinar participants.


If you are a registered individual tax or BAS agent, please use the email address linked to your My Profile account when registering for webinars. This ensures your attendance is properly recorded in our system.

Taking care of business means taking care of you - Mental health and wellbeing for small business

Being a small business owner can be tough, especially in an industry experiencing rapid changes. The combination of work challenges, demands, and a shifting landscape can feel overwhelming, often affecting mental health. We know most tax practitioners are compliant with their personal tax obligations, however we have renewed our compliance focus – prompted by data indicating non-compliance by some tax practitioners. If you need help understanding your obligations, or just want a refresher, join this webinar to hear from us and the ATO as we explain how your tax affairs and those of your related entities impact your Code of Professional Conduct obligations and your fit and proper person status. We’ll also explain the consequences of non-compliance and share some recent case studies.


Code Determination webinar series – help shape our guidance products on ‘False or misleading statements’

The Code of Professional Conduct has recently been expanded to include new obligations. Join us to find out more about the new obligations in relation to false or misleading statements (section 15). We’ll discuss our draft guidance products that will help you understand the new obligations and provide you with an opportunity to ask our panel questions.


Code Determination webinar series – help shape our guidance products on ‘Keeping clients informed’ and ‘Keeping proper client records’

The Code of Professional Conduct has recently been updated to include new obligations. Join us for a session where we will explore these new requirements, particularly focusing on the obligation to keep clients informed of relevant matters (section 45) and maintaining proper client records (section 30).


We'll also introduce our draft guidance materials designed to help you better understand these new obligations. Additionally, you will have the chance to ask questions and engage with our expert panel during the session.

Our webinars are hosted via Zoom. After registering for a webinar, you’ll receive a link to join the session in your confirmation email from Zoom.


Before joining a Zoom meeting on your computer or mobile device, you can download Zoom from their Download Center. If you don’t download it in advance, Zoom will prompt you to download and install the app when you click the join link.


You can also join a test meeting to get familiar with using Zoom, or join a meeting without creating an account.
